Initial Teacher Training
EPAT has an excellent reputation and pedigree with regards to Initial Teacher Training (ITT). The Eastwood Academy was the Lead School in The Eastwood and Leigh Graduate Training Programme Partnership from 2000-2013 and is now a key strategic partner with a number of ITT providers e.g. Kings College, Greenwich University, Essex Teacher Training and Southend SCITT.
If you are interested in following an ITT route, EPAT is able to offer a wide variety of both salaried and non-salaried training opportunities.

Eastwood Park Academy Trust
The Eastwood Academy is the Lead School in The Eastwood Park Academy Trust (EPAT). In conjunction with Essex Teacher Training, we provide trainee teacher positions across a local network of schools in the Southend area.

We currently have positions available for salaried and fee-paying trainees - bursaries up to £30,00, in both secondary and primary sector.

- A degree at 2:2 or above.
- At least a GCSE level C or above in English and Maths (and Science if Primary).
